Nicholas Gottwald is an associate attorney at Nelson, Taylor & Associates. He specializes in family law, divorce and custody disputes, contract issues, estate planning, criminal defense, and traffic violations.
Attorney Gottwald was born and raised in Salt Lake City and graduated with his bachelor’s degree in political science from Brigham Young University. He worked at the Department of Homeland Security’s United States Citizenship Immigration Services in Washington, D.C. as an intern while earning his undergraduate degree and was inspired to attend law school after observing the importance of law firsthand.
Attorney Gottwald returned to Utah in 2010 and began attending the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law. He also began working as a law clerk with Nelson, Taylor & Associates in 2011. He was admitted to practice law in the state of Utah in October 2013.
